Leon Nordin sägs under sin tid i reklambranschen ha varit en man med både ryggrad och pondus. Han lär ha sagt vad han tyckte – till både uppdragsgivare och medarbetare. En gång ifrågasatte Leon varför byrån skulle ta sig an Gulf-uppdraget – ”Varför ska vi vilja jobba med er? Ni säljer ju samma soppa som alla andra!” – och frågade vid ett annat tillfälle Statiol-ledningen varför den nya logotypen skulle se ut ”som en upp-och-nervänd livmoder”. Dessutom formulerade han tio nej-regler som vi i dagens svenska reklambranschen – som alldeles för ofta säger ja, okej – säkert har ett och annat att lära oss av.
1. Nej, det blir inte lätt.
2. Nej, det kommer inte att gå fort.
3. Nej, det blir inte billigt.
4. Nej, du kommer inte undan själv.
5. Nej, inga kommittéer.
6. Nej, vi gör inte speck-uppdrag.
7. Nej, vi visar inga alternativa lösningar.
8. Nej, vi eftertestar inte kommunikation.
9. Nej, du får inte ta med dig skissen.
10. Nej, jag bryr mig inte om vad din fru/man tycker.

Hahahaha… Nummer 10 är min personliga favorit! Den önskar jag att man hade vågat säga till en viss kund när jag var ganska ny i branschen. =)
